I got my first tattoo about 8 or 9 years ago i guess it was.  I had always wanted one, but never wanted just any tattoo.  I've always loved art and always thought that tattoos looked really cool, especially the unique ones, the ones people come up with on their own.  Now there's nothing wrong with getting a "book" tattoo but I'd rather have something that means something to me personally.  What's a "book" tattoo?  That's the generic tattoos you pick out of the books, the ones everybody else has.  Now there are A LOT of tattoo designs out there and some are way cool, but I'd still prefer to design my own tattoos.

As i said, i love designing my own tattoos, usually they come from experiences or circumstances in my life and usually are related to the people in my life, past and present.  I'll get into more of that later when i throw up some pics of my tattoos and tell you how they came about.  There are however some great places on the Internet that offer some pretty sweet tattoo designs.  People are always looking for Tattoo Designs on the Internet.  Places like TattooFinder & TattooJohnny are a couple of great places to find Tattoo Designs.

Once you finally decide on a tattoo, then there's the next big question.  Where am I going to put it?  Of course some folks decide where they want to get the tattoo first, then they try and find a tattoo that works for that particular area of their body.

I'll have to say, I was always told that when you get your 1st tattoo, you'll be addicted and you'll be wanting more!  Well that saying definitely holds true for me.  I currently have 5 tattoos and want at least 2 more.
