Labor Day or Not Gonna Work Day?
Happy Labor Day!!! My company was good enough to give me the day off WITHOUT PAY! Gee thanks! Oh well, at least i do have the day off and i've did pretty well with my websites this month so i guess that'll help.
Labor Day... I woke up this morning and thought about Labor Day. What the heck is Labor Day anyway? Have i ever known why it's a holiday? Did i know and just forget or have i ever known what labor day is? Labor means work right? Soooo, why am i off work? Ok, for those of you who don't know or have forgotten what Labor Day is, here's a link that explains it.
So there ya go, now you know what labor day is. According to Wikipedia, if you just read it, Labor Day has been around since the 1880's???? Dang, no wonder everybody hates Mondays, they've been giving us 1 Monday off a year for 128 years! Hmmmm.. but why call it Labor Day?

I'll probably chill all day, maybe put some stuff on Ebay that i need to sell. Probably play with Bentley our boxer. I mean we don't own a person that's a boxer, Bentley is a dog boxer.. uhhh.. he doesn't really box. Ok, Bentley is a canine that falls under the category of the Boxer Breed. His name is Bentley.
Ok, i really need to go take my meds...
Errr body have a GREAT Labor Day! Now get out there and Labor! I mean relax!
Or, try and help me think of a new name for Labor Day!

How ’bout “Work 240 days a year and get one free day” …hmmm..not sure the sarcasm comes across that well in that one. Maybe…”Gee thanks…8 hours off Day!”…no. Oh well…can’t think of anything better….but a question does come to mind…how ironic would it be to have a baby on labor day. Don’tcha think you should get a free C-Section since it’s Labor Day?

my old musician buddies and i used to have a party ev/labor day and call it the “No Labor Day , day”. It tended to last several days though. guess it was the no labor day weekend! Lots of fun and music and food!
