No More Checks Or Money Orders!

1 September 2008 No Comment

Are you a shopper at Ebay? Have you seen this email from Ebay?
Paper payments end this October

Beginning late October 2008, all items listed on eBay.com must be paid for using one of the following approved payment options:

* Direct credit or debit card payment via a merchant credit card account
* PayPal
* ProPay
* Payment on pick-up

Paper payment methods such as checks and money orders will no longer be accepted on eBay.com.

By January 2009, all approved electronic payment methods will be integrated into eBay checkout. For example, buyers will be able to enter their credit card number directly into eBay checkout, and the payment will be routed to the seller's Internet merchant account or to their PayPal account.

Please note that the new payments policy will not apply to the vehicles categories in Motors, capital equipment categories in Business & Industrial, Mature Audiences and Real Estate.

So there you go, no more paper payments when you shop at Ebay.com. Oh, unless you buy Cars, Real Estate or Adult Material : )

What does this mean for you? Nothing if you have a PayPal, or one of the other payment options listed above.

If you do any shopping online, then you probably see that just about every merchant online offers or requires a payment from places like PayPal. I know I have used PayPal hundreds upon hundreds of times. You can even send money to other people that have PayPal accounts for other type goods and services. I use that a lot in my Internet Marketing business.

It's quick, it's easy and it's very secure! It's free to sign up and I would say before long, you're gonna need something like a PayPal account for just about all of your online purchases!

I'll put a link here and in the Internet Marketing category for those of you who want to sign up!

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them or contact me!

Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.
