Last night Misty and me went out to grab a bite to eat.  We decided on Cook-Out and so i pull in and head for the drive-thru.  I'm driving so i have drive-thru duty which i don't like!  Why?  Because my memory is about as long as my hair, so anytime we go through a drive-thru, Misty has to repeat everything to me about 10 times so i won't screw up the order.  Or write it down so i can read it from a piece of paper.

So i pull up to the speaker and the lady proceeds to ask me for my order and i politely tell her to give me a minute please.  I needed a moment to figure out what i wanted and i also had to rehearse what Misty was telling me in my mind.  She had told me about 3 or 4 times she wanted a REGULAR BBQ tray and told me which sides she wanted.  So i'm trying to remember her order and figure out what i wanted at the same time.  Yeah i know, simple for some folks but for me it's a struggle haha.  So i finally think i have it all together in my head and i lean my head out the window and say to the lady in the speaker  "Ok, i'm REGULAR"  I had rehearsed that Misty wanted a "regular" BBQ tray over and over in my mind so much, that when it's time to say "i'm ready", i say "i'm regular".

So we both bust out laughing and can't even speak.  I tried to order again but NOT!  i tell the lady she's just gonna have to wait a sec.  I tried to compose myself and finally get a grip and place the order.

Ahhh, the wonders of the human mind and how we can screw things up!  haha...  but at least it was a good laugh!
