Help Me Fill My Kettle

9 December 2008 3 Comments

I noticed something really cool over at Phizzle's Blog today.  He had setup an online kettle to be filled for the Salvation Army.  I didn't know the online kettle donation existed but it is a GREAT idea!  I donated over at his blog and thought I would put one up here to help the cause!

Are you like me and never carry any cash?  There's usually a check card in my pocket and every time I go to the store and pass by the bell ringers for the Salvation Army I never have cash to put in.  I always mean to get some cash back in the store but forget and come out empty handed again.  So to me this is a great idea!  You can give to Mine or Phizzle's local Salvation Army, or when you click on the link you'll have the option to find the Salvation Army in your area!  These folks do a great service and have helped so many people, not only at Christmas but year round!

Help Me Reach My Goal!

When I set up my kettle to display here on my blog, I put the goal at $250.00.  I would LOVE to see this happen by the weekend and at least by one week from today.  So if you haven't given any this year or even if you have, here's the perfect chance!  Any amount can be given so there's no excuse!

After you donate, if you have a blog or website, get setup and add a kettle to your site!  If you have any questions or need help getting it set up, just ask!

You will find the kettle on the right side of the page near the top!

Thanks for giving!

That’s an awesome idea man – and I went through to put up a donation and realized it only takes CC, and I don’t have one (Veronica does though, but I’ve gotta find it!)
