This has been one long arse week for some reason!  Seems like the days just drug by at work!  But it's all good, we've made it to another Friday and another weekend is here!

This past weekend was Valentines and Misty and I visited one of our favorite Winery's, Chateau Morrisette.  You can read about it HERE!  I've said many times, I love me some wine!  I'm mostly a red wine drinker and mostly dry wines.  There are some sweet wines I love too, but not too sweet!

Here lately, one of my favorite wines is Bonny Black from Thistle Meadow.

This dark, rich, flavorful blend of black currants and Merlot makes a wonderfully full-bodied sweet wine. To the Scotch-Irish folks who first settled in this part of North Carolina, the word "bonny" means good... and boy is it ever!

Thistle Meadow is also one of our favorite winery's to visit and I think we're heading up there again soon!  My favorite dry red wine from Thistle Meadow is Bergamais... it's good for the heart and cholesterol!

Made in the style of the great Beaujolais wines, this perky young wine is also made from the juice of the Gamay grape.

So I am ready for a nice relaxing weekend, and a nice glass of red wine!
