Havin Fun – Shootin Taters
Ohhhhh My! What a week it has been! We are ready for the weekend!! Are YOU?
It's actually been a great week and the weather has been really nice here in the NC foothills! This weekend is HUGE for our little town... the Autumn Leaves Festival is this weekend and there will be thousands of folks coming to our neck of the woods! We always enjoy this time of year.. it's fun to go people watch, check out main street and see people we haven't seen since last years festival. Eat some great food and just have fun!
Shootin Taters?
So this is something I've been wanting to get on video for a while now and finally took time to do it! Nothing like having a nice cold beer and getting out your prized tater gun and shooting taters right?
I'm gonna just shut up and let the video speak for itself hahaha..
So have you ever seen a "tater gun" before now? haha

Wow – you learn something new every day! I would have to say that out of all of the potential uses for potatoes which I have seen or heard about, that one is certainly the most interesting.
I like what you said about blogs about making money online. Making money online is all well and good, but at the end of the day, life is about much, much more than just making money, and that applies just as much to life in the blogosphere as it does to life in the offline world.
Thanks for taking the time to make that video and show us something which is certainly very different.

Haha.. Andrew I was looking forward to comments from other countries about that “tater gun”! I had a feeling there wasn’t much knowledge about it here in the states and surely not overseas! glad you enjoyed it!

you should probably warn me before you shoot things so if I hear a loud bang and a tater comes through my window I don’t freak out

Jake, I knew what a tater was, probably from watching all those American movies, but that’s the first time I’ve seen a tater gun. That was a real eye opener. Thanks for the entertaining video.
