Death – Marriage – Honeymoon – Beer – Internet Marketing

3 July 2010 4 Comments

It's pretty damn sad that I haven't written any post on my blog since April!  I'm such a slacker! ha!  Actually, there have been some good reasons and not so good reasons for me not blogging in such a long time...

The Not So Good Reasons:

Lazy! (when it comes to blogging)
Loss of interest!

For someone that has so much to say, and has an opinion about pretty much everything, and has so much going on in his life, you would think I would take time and share it with the world as I have over the past couple of years here at JakeCpuNut Truth is, when I did have a free minute I just couldn't make myself start blogging again.  Call it lazy, call it lack of dedication or whatever... it is what it is haha.  So, I guess we'll see if this post sparks my interest again and my thoughts start traveling from my mind to my keyboard once again!

The Good Reasons:

Along with the not so good reasons for not blogging, I actually do have some very good reasons that I haven't poured my thoughts out here for a while...  In the month of May I lost my sister to cancer..  If/when I can ever get my thoughts together about it, I'll blog about it.. But to be honest, right now it still doesn't even seem real!  The day after we buried my sister, Misty and I got married and then spent the next week on our honeymoon in Mexico.  As I'm typing this I'm trying to decide if I'll include all of that in a separate post, or just make this one long post and include everything.  To say the least, the month of May was RIDICULOUSLY filled with emotions and along with my sisters sickness and the wedding plans etc etc, things were just crazy.  I can't even put into words how crazy things became.

Also, As you've seen in some of my recent posts, my new hobby of making my own home brew has taken up what free time I do have.  Reading and learning everything I can about making beer, getting new equipment and all that jazz.  As a beer drinker, I LOVE being able to make my own beer at home.  We LOVE craft beers and to be able to make it yourself, not only do you save money in the long run (after you get the equipment), but it's also a great hobby, fun and very interesting!

Still Making Money With My Internet Marketing Business

Ahhh, this wonderful thing we call the Internet.  It gives you so many opportunities and since March of 2008, I've used the Internet to make some pretty good money.  Things have changed so much and for the last few months, I've kinda sat and watched all these changes and pretty much just left things alone.  Of the 8 websites I maintain, all are still making money and I REALLY need to buckle down and start improving those sites and adding a few more!  You would think that the $$ would be enough motivation, but again, getting burned out on something does take its toll, even on things that make you money.

Ok, me thinks I"ll let this post end here and just do a separate post on the honeymoon and wedding!

Be sure to check back soon!

Good to see ya posting Jake! I think I burned out on the Facebook side of it on my end… it was a HUGE DISTRACTION to my work day!

I know you had a May that was filled with the best and worst emotions a person has to deal with. Fortunately, it sounds like you will find the answer to whether you want to blog… one way or another.

Been there man… and sure I will be there again!

Anyhow – happy 4th, and look forward to catching up again!

It was to say the least bro! But as you know and have already said, those times come and go haha.. As long as we’re having fun that’s all that matters right? :)

Happy 4th to you and your crowd too bro! We’ll catch up soon!
